Now the No 1 provider of Intensive Driving Courses in the UK

How long do I have to wait for a driving test?

The Government have an agency called the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) they have hundreds of Driving Test Centres all over the UK and thousands of Driving Examiners. The waiting list varies between 2 and 10 weeks; However, we can obtain short notice tests from pupils who postpone their current date. We also have to ensure the instructor and you are also available at this time.

What is your pass rate?

With nearly 450 instructors it's impossible to give an accurate picture, but all the evidence points to about a 5% higher pass rate than a longer regular course. Having worked in the industry for 20+ years I can also say those instructors that quote very high pass rates are often exaggerating - You just can't tell!

How many hours do I need?

How long does it take to bake a potato? Until it's ready is perhaps the best answer! Typically an intensive course will take 10% less hours than a longer regular course. However, it's very important to have an assessment lesson. It will give your instructor a chance to see your driving and how quickly you pick things up and make a recommendation. It's better still to have a few extra lessons prior to the course so that we can fine tune what length of course will be best for you.

Another useful trick is to create a little bit of 'breathing space' towards the end of the course in case you want to squeeze in a few more lessons. (An instructor may not be able to fit these in.)

 Do you do Pass Plus?

The majority of our instructors do Pass Plus courses. This is a post test course that gives a new driver experience of Motorway driving, Night time driving, Bad weather driving etc; It can reduce your insurance by more than the cost of the course.

Please speak to you instructor at your assessment lesson for more details.
